I’ve never thought about cooking watermelon. Until the other day this seemed outrageous to me to “spoil” the juicy, tasty, divine watermelon by cooking it.

You know what’s worse than a Monday? A bad one!
I know all Mondays are just horrible, but sometimes you might be lucky enough to make it through the day without any major incidents to remind you how much you hate Mondays! And trust me I am an expert in bad Mondays…

Grilled asparagus salad with beet chips
Usually every of my recipes has a story. This recipe doesn’t have one. It just started to build up from our need of change, including the #leftoversday
One day I decided I want to have a salad with every diner. We were all complaining about how hard it is to watch our waistline with all my cooking and, as a food blogger testing new recipes all the time, I kinda have to do this. So I wanted to try a different approach and instead for cooking less, (not that would have ever been possible) I’ll serve every meal with a huge hearty salad on the side.
Best salad: Pear, Gorgonzola and Walnut
I am still trying to tempt the summer with new and delish flavours so appropriate for a nice warm summer evening when a glass of wine/lemonade/cocktail and a light salad is all you need. Well ‘trying” is the word and here in Ireland summer is something hard to get…

Vegan Beets Sour Soup (Borscht) – Traditional Romanian Recipe
Once there was only one place I used to call “home”… Now there are two, the second being Ireland. If I count another place – Malta – where I lived for over 2 years, Ireland would be the third one 🙂 So far 🙂

Baked sticky glazed chicken wings
I am “share and taste from everyone’s plate” kinda gal. You’ve seen the most important part, right? I do share! I suppose it should be enough. I don’t get it when people looking at me strange when with a smooth move like a feline I “steal” something from their plate. [Read more…]

I kinda feel if and for how long and most of all what contribution/changes/good or bad is going to bring me. [Read more…]

Spicy Sticky Chicken Drumsticks
Sunday morning…
Me: ”What do you want for lunch?”
My husband: ”Anything…”
My daughter: ”Nothing!”
Don’t you just love them! Looks like I have nothing to do. For anything my fridge is full, for nothing, even better! If it only was so simple… That was in the morning.
